In short: no account, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. The only personal data involved are IP addresses seen by servers, and the problem reports you choose to send.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Dalviiio, publisher of V Mods Manager. Contact: vmodsmanager@gmail.com.

This website

• No cookies, no local storage, no analytics, no third-party scripts, fonts or widgets. That is why there is no cookie banner.
• Server logs. When you visit, our server records your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser’s user agent. Purpose: keeping the site secure and working (detecting abuse and errors). Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are deleted after 30 days and are not used for anything else, never combined with other data, and never shared, except with the host below or when required by law.
• Host. The site runs on a server rented from OVH SAS (Roubaix, France), which acts as our processor. The data stays in the European Union.
• Downloads. Release information is fetched from GitHub by our server, not by your browser. When you click Download, your browser downloads the installer directly from GitHub (GitHub, Inc., United States), which then receives your IP address under its ownprivacy statement.
• External links. The Discord and GitHub links lead to services with their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them until you click.

The manager

• No account, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising.
• Your mod library, settings and logs stay on your PC, in %LocalAppData%\VModsManager. We have no access to them.
• Online checks. Only if you allow Internet access, the manager checks for new versions (through this website’s server and GitHub) and checks or downloads frameworks from their official sources (you choose which sites are allowed). These servers see your IP address. On our server it is handled like the website logs above.
• Problem reports. A report is sent only when you click Send, after you have seen its full content. Your Windows user name and profile paths are removed from it. It goes to our server, which sees your IP address (handled like the website logs above), then forwards the report without your IP address to a private channel on Discord (Discord Inc., United States), under Discord’sprivacy policy. Purpose: fixing the problem you report. Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking Send. Reports are deleted after 90 days. You can ask for a report to be deleted earlier at any time.

Transfers outside the European Union

GitHub, Discord and Google are based in the United States. Transfers to them rely on the safeguards described in their privacy policies (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses). If you do not want to use them, you can still read this site without contacting any of them.

Emails

If you write to us, we keep your email address and message only as long as needed to answer you, then delete them within one year. The mailbox is hosted by Google (Gmail), under Google’sprivacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what was done before). Write tovmodsmanager@gmail.com; we answer within one month. Since we do not know who you are from an IP address alone, we may ask for details that let us find the data concerned (for example the date and time of a report).

If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: cnil.fr.

No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out, and no data is ever sold.
